You can imagine that if you have a t-shirt that sells for $10 versus a laptop that sells for $899, or a baseball glove that sells for $195, the t-shirt is going to have a much smaller margin to cover their costs. Of course, it is possible to make money with internet fulfillment and e-commerce fulfillment by selling smaller ticket items but we believe it is key to have some sort of a minimum in place to protect yourself (as a start-up). Some of the larger companies can afford loss leaders but as a start-up, you can't!
