Position Posting: Transportation Manager

McKenna Logistics Centres is looking to fill the Transportation Manager position on its leadership team.

o You have successful experience in operations and sales roles.

o You have worked directly with customers, using your knowledge to develop a transportation program for their business and think strategically about how to get your customers’ products to the market in the most effective way

o You are knowledgeable of carrier capabilities in Canada for less-than-truckload, truckload, courier, and parcel services.

o You are knowledgeable of carrier capabilities on trans-border lanes.

o You have experience running a small transportation brokering operation.

o You have experience shipping to major and independent retailers.

o You have a deep knowledge of compliance requirements for delivering into the major retailers.

o You have been with a company that has grown considerably.

o You have had financial responsibility.

o You are process driven.

o You are accurate and organized.

o You can work autonomously and with a small team.

McKenna’s transportation offering (non-asset based) has grown considerably over the last five years and we are looking for someone who will continue its growth. The position reports directly into the President and has one direct report to handle routine transactions. Complete and sole responsibility for the transportation program rests with the Transportation Manager.

Position Posting: Customer Service Representative

We are seeking Customer Service Representatives to join our team in:

Delta, British Columbia and

Brampton, Ontario.

Purpose of Position:

The Customer Service Representative is responsible for assuring customer orders and inquiries are handled professionally, accurately and in a timely fashion. He/she will also be required to communicate with the warehouse to ensure order accuracy and completion.

Key Responsibilities:

· Handling customer inquiries over the telephone and through email

· Invoicing customers for services

· Confirming shipments

· Printing shipping labels

· Entering pallet information

· Communicating with operations department to ensure order completion

· Other duties as assigned

Skills and Qualifications:

· Completion of High School Diploma

· Experience and knowledge of warehouse/logistics is a strong asset

· Excellent problem solving skills and customer focused

· Ability to work in a fast paced environment

· Data Entry experience

· Strong working knowledge of MS Office
